The All Assam Ophthalmic Assistant Association (AAOAA) was established on 11th December 1997 to unite ophthalmic assistants across Assam and advocate for their professional rights and development.
Founded in 1997, AAOAA has grown from a small group of dedicated professionals to become the leading voice for ophthalmic assistants in Assam. Our head office is located in Dispur, Guwahati.
Our mission is to enhance the skills and knowledge of ophthalmic assistants through continuing education programs, workshops, and seminars. We work to maintain high professional standards and promote the important role of ophthalmic assistants in eye care delivery.
With members from government hospitals, private clinics, and eye care centers across all districts of Assam, AAOAA serves as the collective voice for ophthalmic assistants in the state.
